Dearne Valley Garden Centre is lucky to be situated in a huge area of redevelopment and regeneration! Once a coal mining site, the Manvers area is now an excellent place for recreation and wildlife. A number of lakes and trails provide an ideal site for cycling, walking and relaxing, and for wildlife lovers the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds have a site close by, with a shop, cafe and adventure playground for the kids - an ideal way to spend a few hours!

The site is being developed further to include a golf course, a driving range, sports facilities, family restaurants, a boating clubhouse and much more.

So, why not include some other activities into your garden centre visit and make a day of it!?
